Me too! Should be a good match up.

Im thinking Argentina will win the world cup. For all their problems, they have the players that can do the business.

Best teams:

Spain: best team + Casillas, Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta & Torres cool
England: some great players + Capello's style hmmm
Brazil: overall, this is the worst generation of brazilian footballers since the late 80s, but hey, Brazil always means business...
Argentina: average team but they have the best player in the world, Messi...
France: some great new players nod a remarkable young team...

Holland and Germany are pretty solid but I don't think they are a serious threat for Spain, Brazil or England...and Italy, my god, what a bunch of old legends disbelief

Can't wait for June! cool Too bad I'm gonna spend half of my savings lol confused lol cool

No we all WISH that was true and every year we have 'the best team'...but something always happens to screw it up.

Personally I think its me jinxing the whole thing...England and my club have got progressevly 'unlucky' the more interested i got over the years

Sorry

Are you serious, its our first entry since 1982, we got in by a fluke. I am a New Zealander, but really if we make round 2 I will be amazed.

We can beat Slovakia, Italy always start slow so if we can get a draw against them, then hope some other results go our way,
we will make it to the next round.

Then we will get soundly beaten.
lol

We had the best team with Eriksson, but he screwed it all up. I mean: Robinson, Gaz, Rio, John, Cashley, Becks, Gerrard, Lampard, (back then) Scholes, Joe Cole, Owen, Rooney, ...

We have a very good team now, also. BELIEVE!
