Alfa Romeo For some reason, I've become interested in the Spider. At first, I thought about buying a really nice early- to mid-80's Spider (yeah, a hot girlfriend drove one in college).
Then I went to the Alfa site and saw that they make the Spider today. And it looks pretty dang cool. But...they don't sell Alfa's in the USA? You can't choose "USA" as one of the countries to shop from. So, any European orgers drive a new/recent Spider? What do you think? How much are they? Can they be imported to the US?

My brother is an Alfa Romeo seller. Just asked him and says it's about 40,000 Euro. No additional info, sorry.
Bet they don't sell many

Only owned one Alpha. Forget which model, not the Spider though.
I was not impressed with it to be honest though hubby nearly cried when we sold it. I think it was a 156 or something. Cars are just something that get you from A to B. Yes, I am practical. The Alpha's go through oil and can break down and be temperamental. I hear it is an Italian thing. Oh and let's not tell hubby that they do not sell them in the states. [Edited 4/21/10 6:57am]

You can buy one from a Seattle Ferrari dealership: http://www.ferrariofseatt...odels.aspx
I would think that many dealers in exotics would be able to get one for you locally as well. They are purty. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
