Synopsis

i had actually forgotten it until my artist who is doing the art reminded me, but by that point i was too far along to change it. "gage" was chosen because the phlebotinum is a watch, and i needed a name that went with time. gaging time, to gage time became the genesis of the name. we tried a ton of other hero names but none work as well as gage.

there is also a gay porn star name gage, i found out a few weeks ago.

so ben and noel are best friends, anna is a mysterious woman who noel saves when she falls onto the subway track, kevin is a guy who is in unrequited love with ben, danni is kevin's sister and jeff is her ex-boyfriend who is noel's other best friend.

the noel looks like a taller and more imposing version of the real noel, the danni looks a lot like my friend jacque, the kevin looks like a much skinnier version of me, and the jeff looks a lot like my friend zach.

cute as a button. he reads really well and is effortlessly charming. he's also a freaking giant at 6' 4", which is perfect since he has to be believable as a superhero. he blew me away in the audition.... just completely gets the role.

i am finding embarrassing footage of all of them.

I am so happy for you that your reading is going so well. Noel is cute.

i suppose you're going to tell us that you don't have a casting couch, aren't you...

but then once he read the piece, he totally decided he wanted to be noel.

i dont really act any more, but i am incapable of saying no when someone callls and asks me to play a role. i had a friend who wrote me a part, and so i really could not say no. it wasn't a great play, but meaghan and i really bonded during it. we stayed friends, and when i started writing the characters, i wrote the part for her, tailored to her, and written in a speaking style that compliments her own, even though the character is based on an old friend. she's also the only actor that we kept from the last reading of it.

she is a SEXY woman. very confident, very bright, and has a smoking hot body. her character is also the only character beside ben that will likely be in all 5 plays in the cycle that this is the first of. the second show (which is in rough draft and getting edited and fixed at this point) is her baby. her character goes from supporting to lead, and meaghan didnt even bat an eye when i told her it requires her to be naked on stage and simulating sex quite a bit.

god bless her, she's kind of my muse. i want to spend the rest of my life writing for her.
