WHO IS THE KINDEST PERSON YOU KNOW? (personally)

aside from Jesus, Buddha and such?

I would hope we all personally know somebody we consider to be kind.

My inner child, who looks like Prince--a good Prince. Who makes great songs all the time and tours with cheap tickets, plays all the right songs, does autographs, takes photos. Ahhh.

My mother.

She would do anything for anyone, and always has a kind word. Even if you've fucked up royally, she'll tell you something supportive and positive.

She doesn't have a vengeful or vindictive bone in her body. She is kind to people who have hurt her, people who are nice to her, and people she has never met.

I try and emulate those qualities in her. However, it has a dark side - she's very passive and non-confrontational, and has often allowed people to walk on her. In that way I try to be the opposite of her.
It's what you make it.

My mother.

If there is any bit of kindness in me I get it from her.

Always, always, always putting others before herself. To a fault, even. She is truly a sweet woman, loved by everyone who knows her. I have never heard of anyone saying anything but lovely things about my mother and those who are her friends truly treasure her as one.

My mom rocks.

My father.

A woman who is a family friend. She's incredibly sweet, and in such a genuine way. She can always make me smile.

My school counselor. That's another incredible woman. Just seeing her cheers me up and motivates me if I'm having a bad day. You can always turn to her and she'll always have something nice and positive to say.
My friend's mother is quite like that too. She just radiates positive energy.

You used the word "selfless" to describe your mawm.

Honestly, I've known quite a few extremely kind people and it's hard to pick just one. But if I have to, probably my grandmother. Always a kind word about everybody, even at a tough moment (which is when it really counts, right?).

Girrrllll.....one of these days when we are back in the states he better take me to Seattle. That's all I am sayin'!

If we can mention ppl that are no longer with us, the 2nd kindest person I have ever known is my great grandmother. She passed away in 2002 at age 97. She was(is) a huge influence in my life.
she taught me life lessons like it is best to treat others as you wish to be treated and not to lie because it will always come back to bite you in the end.
She was the most awesome sweet, kind & loving person I have ever known.
