Winter has kind of started here in the southern hemisphere. The nights are cold, but we are still having very warm sunny days. Think winter will be mild this year

We have had an unseasonably warm spring so far and it doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon. We’ve had higher than average temperatures more days than not since about the beginning of March. March is usually our second snowiest month of the year and we had NO SNOW in March this year, the first time in hundreds of years. And it ALWAYS snows at least once or twice in April, but we’ve had none so far and we’re not currently forecasted to get cold enough for it to happen for the rest of the month.
The trees are finally turning green as well to match these warmer temperatures and that usually doesn’t happen till much later in the season.

I looooove spring! love

Lord I hope the 6 months of winter is O-V-E-R!

We ate outside on the back patio yesterday and I almost got a sunburn on our walk through the countryside.
We have been enjoying watching the lambs running around, that is when we know Spring has sprung.

thumbs up!

I been singing' this flippin' song for the last two months - and it's finally true!

It's amazing what a bit o' spring can do
What a simple little thing like spring can do
When the snow begins to melt
And a warming trend is felt
Roots you thought were dead may start to sprout anew

It's amazing what a trace of green can bring
It can stimulate a tree to add a ring
And each limb will swell in size
As the sap begins to rise
'Til it seems it's almost bound to burst in two
It's amazing what a bit of spring can do!

It's amazing
It's amazing
It's amazing what a bit of spring can do!

All of a sudden
The whole world is buddin'
It's switched from December to May

We're in a much warmer season
Which must be the reason
Ev'ry he-male's havin' fits
Ev'ry female knows that it's

Amazin' when a blaze a-bloom breaks through
Quite a dandy and delightful dream come true
It can add that special zing
To an old familiar fling
It's amazing what a bit of spring can do!

It's outrageous
It's contagious
It's amazing what a little bit of bloomin' spring can do!

Winter is over
It's finally over
The fields are in clover again

Each buzzin' bee and each flower
Is gripped by the power
Ev'ry creature feels the surge
Mother Nature's on a splurge

It's magic, it's a miracle, it's fate
It's a wonder, it's a mystery, it's great
And a tasty tang o' spice
Makes the whole thing twice as nice
Which is why this eager beaver's in a stew

It's cheeky and it's brazen
It's a blessin' beyond praisin'

It's amazin'
It's amazin'
It's amazin'
It's amazin'
It's amazin' what a little bit o' bloomin'

March and April, May and June
Linger long and come back soon

Bit o' spring can do!
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Hot here (just about in the northern hemisphere). Maybe a little more overcast and slightly milder in the mornings than I'd expect this time of year, but not too unusual for what right now is supposed to be hot season.

It's spring in New York City. A couple of weeks ago we had a record-breaking day -- it was 92 degrees. Ugh, too early for it to be that hot. But lately it's been in the 60s or low 70s.

The daffodils have bloomed, and now the tulips are in full effect. Yesterday I was walking around my neighborhood (moved in November) and found a community garden with 1000s of tulips. They are having a tulip festival next weekend. Within the last few weeks the trees in Central Park have gone from having bare branches to being full of bright green leaves. smile
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
