The V Remake

I've just finished watching the first five episodes - it's great.

Anna is much more creepy than Diana.

Is anybody else watching the show?

I've been watching since the beginning. I like it. It's not excellent or anything, but I'm intrigued enough to stay with it.

I do think the show needs more irons in the fire. There only seems to be ten regular characters and only a handful of developing stories. There's the R6 chemical in Father Jack's body; The human/visitor embryo inside Ryan's girlfriend; Anna's manipulation of Decker; Tyler possibly being brainwashed... And that's pretty much it!!!

They need to introduce more characters and more sub-plots - but I'm loving it!!!

I watched 2 episodes and lost interest boxed

I'm hopeless with anything that requires waiting a week in between episodes, I totally forget to watch the next one and then never watch it again. That happened to me with every series except Twin Peaks.

No they don't need more characters, 10 is alot for only having 5 episodes.

It hasn't started here in the UK yet, but I saw an ad for it a couple of days ago and it looks really good.

Can't wait to watch it.

I liked, but was a little underwhelmed by, the first four episodes. I have an acquaintance who is a writer on the show, and while he hasn't told me anything about what's coming up, he did say big and good things are coming on the show.

I was hopeful that what ABC was doing this season would work out with V and FlashForward. Now it looks like only one of those shows (or possibly neither) will survive to next season. That's a shame.

They didn't want it to work. You don't put a brand new show on hiatus for several months and expect people to come running back. disbelief That doesn't fly nowadays. And God forbid they ever show reruns anymore for people to stumble upon and get hooked. rolleyes

Well if only one survie I hope it's V. I like Flash Forward but the whole concept of the show seems like it is only good for 1 or 2 seasons at most.

She still looks amazing. She moved to Australia, years ago. Recent pic and interview, here:

I like the cast and all their ties to other sci-fi shows the 4400, lost, Smallville. Fire Fly, The X-Files, Journeyman, The New Battlestar Galactica, Andromeda, Stargate.

I loved Journeyman. It was more like It's A Wonderful Life than Quantum Leap.

I love this show. I loved the original also! I am a science fiction freak anyway. The show is moving slow with the story line. This upcoming episode looks interesting.

I have now watched the first 3 eps on Syfy - not sure if it will hold my attention week to week, but they showed these eps back to back so I was able to get into it.

I thought it was pretty good.
