After I got finished watching the movie "Signs" Staring Mel Gibson ... it left my mind wondering with alot of questions such as "what if"? What if there was other types of lifeforms out there, other then humankind/ human intelligence? Do you think they would come in peace? What if they up there in space, contemplating on the destruction day of Mankind ... that would be a scary thought. Do you think George Bush would try 2 go 2 war with them, if they had good oil ? Do you think they're others here with us? Not just little green men from the planet mars, but you know are there good and evil spirits walking amongst us? Are there ghost? Is the dead really dead or is it we're just no longer able 2 see them physically ... mmmh .

If they saw what we're doing to nature, they'll be treating us like a plague.

aliens do not exist close enough to earth to have visited before--even with light speed travel it would take eons to travel to any other stars...

I watched that movie last week.

I enjoyed it and thought the cast was really good, but I'd still like to know how creatures that are SO intelligent that they can build spacecraft that is capable of travelling millions of light years and can turn invisible and hover above cities: couldn't manage to smash through wooden doors and boards on windows; and - considering the creatures were repelled/injured/destroyed by water - they arrived on Earth totally unprepared to deal with the fact that water falls from the sky here on a regular basis AND that the planet itself has more water on its surface than land. Yet they had absolutely no type of protection from water. Nothing. I thought that facet of the plot was sorta flimsy.

Personally I believe in life on other planets and that Earth has been visited by before. I truly do.
