Nearly won the game is obviously not the same as REALLY winning the game. lol Go Lakers! But I agree the Suns still have a chance. At this point I certainly won't be surprised if the series goes seven games.

It is going 7 and the Lakers had better wake up.
I would not mind seeing the Suns in the Finals.

Me either.

It's like they blew a big lead only to have the Suns come back. I was more disappointed in L.A. than I was in Phoenix.

I'm gonna say the Lakers take it in six, just to be contradictory, because that's me. lol Since I'm a Laker fan I'd much rather see Orlando come back and take out the Celtics than Phoenix take the Lakers. However, I'll be reppin' whoever comes out of the West, for sure.

LA has major issues with Phoenix's zone. I'm very impressed with Phoenix this series.

Boston will be short-handed - no Big Baby, and Rasheed is questionable with back issues.

Correction - Big Baby has been cleared to play. 'Sheed is still a game-time decision.

Sheed is the "Big Baby". I really have no idea why they signed him OR Lil' Nate.

If you are watching what Nate is doing in this game, THIS is the reason why they got him...Defense and to be able to score in close games....

Yeah. You'll notice I'm not having the best luck this post season. Figures the first time I say something about Nate dude goes off and has a big game. lol Cool. I don't hate Nate, and I'm glad he stayed ready. Because he was doin' an awful lot of bench ridin' before tonight.

Orlando just couldn't get it together. But at least they didn't get swept.

Hey, if not for injuries, Boston would have beaten Orlando last year. Celtics just know how to get it done.

Very disappointed in Vince Carter. I thought he was going to step up in this series.

Vince Carter doesn't know how to step up. I'm not even saying the guy can't play, he can. Or that he can't score, clearly, he can. But the dude just doesn't know how to step up when the pressure is on. I'm all for giving somebody a second chance, and maybe a third. But Carter's had enough now. I'm tired of his mess. Orlando doesn't need to freak out, though. Just take a bit to think about what changes need to be made (get rid of Carter lol , trade Gortat for a scorer) and restructure a little for next year. They'll be fine.

I'm not a Boston fan. Repeat, NOT! But they said all the right things after the victory last night. Especially Paul Pierce who mentioned he was lucky to get there a second time because some players never get there once. Still, I hope the Lakers DESTROY them after they finish off the Suns today. lol

Folks, this is why Kobe is head and shoulders above the rest, including LeBron James. At "winnin' time", the dude puts it on his shoulders and gets it done.

I was never a Nate fan when he was on my Knicks. Too much hot-dogging, playing to the crowd and being a circus act instead of playing the game right.

And one game doesn't mean anything. People all excited like he proved himself or something. If he even plays in the finals and actually does something to help them win I will give credit where credit is due. But I don't see it happening. The Lakers size won't allow him to get much time, anyway.

Oh, and Lakers in five if Pau shows up at all and/or RonRon keeps playing like he did in the last game. Kobe is possessed right now. Dude wants it.

Yes Kobe proved to be the game closer. You can tell he really wanted to shut the Suns down

for the season. This guy hit some unbelievable shots that was just damn near impossible. This

guy is the best player in the game period. If you challenge this guy, you are just gonna finish

second. Props to the Suns for showing some heart during the series. It's amazing how they finished

after a 12-18 start. Stoudemire needs to at least act like he plays defense sometimes especially if he

is looking to cash in on a big payday. I got dizzy watching the Lakers run rings around his matador

defense.

Bynum is the key. Boston will make it physical - Lakers need him to help counter the Celtic bigs.

If Bynum is the key then it's over, because dude is broken. I've been following Kobe since he came into the league and I'm not sure I've ever seen him as focused as he has been this post season. Everybody wrote him off as tired and old during the regular season but he was playing with about 14 injuries. No he knows it's just four more wins and the season is over. I can't really argue that they don't NEED Bynum, they do. But if Pau can get back to where he was in the first two series, RonRon and Fish play like they CAN play and a couple other bench guys step up each night, I still think the Lakers will take it quickly. If all those things DON'T happen AND Bynum keeps playing limited minutes its gonna be tough for the Lakers to win. Hopefully the days off will help Bynum's knee a bit. But there's just as much of a chance with that kind of injury that he comes back rested and comfortable, thinking he can push it, and ends up finishing his season fast.

Did Kobe hit a single shot that was simple? I'm not a Kobe fan but this guy is a BEAST 4 real. Some of those shots were in the cartoon/video game realm. Unbelievable.

But they'll need some productive minutes from Bynum, so Pau won't get worn out by the Celtic big men. It'll be interesting to see how the refs call this.

Kobe will never be Michael Jordan, but he's the closest to him. Who's a better finisher and more clutch than this cat? I do believe LeBron will get there one day, but not now.
