Perkins should stop crying after every single foul called on him.
Refs don't change calls so what is the point?

I hope the league rescinds the second T, because the call was bogus. Perkins should be allowed to play in Game 6. And I'm a Celtic hater, but NBA refs have been a joke the past few years.

Graycap23 said: CarrieLee said: I'm glad you're not a ref! I used 2 be..... Well, since you were, then you know that it is important even for the Ref to keeo his head in the game. That ref obviously blew that call lastnight,(he should have kept track of how many technicals he had til that point. The player, did not get into his face and protested while in the act of walking away. If you look at the replay, there was no foul committed. The refs should just let them play. I think the refs are just bias, sometimes. [Edited 5/27/10 10:33am] "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Refs don't change calls so what is the point? The entire Celtic team, other than maybe Rondo. They all act like they've never committed a foul in their entire career. And most of them think they get fouled on every play, too. Although, to be honest, Orlando isn't a whole lot better. The Suns and Lakers are both much more mellow with the refs.

Graycap23 said: U know Kobe is going 2 get EVERY call in L.A. Actually, for being such a superstar, Kobe takes a lot of hits. And he takes a lot of hits without complaining. It's pretty easy to spot because they show so many slo-mo replays of him during the games. LeBron gets way more phantom calls than Kobe does. And Jordan, shoot, all you had to do with breathe on him.

Anyway, I too think the second T was unnecessary. But players need to know who the refs are in each game and realize that they are going to be seeing those guys over and over with only four teams playing. Some refs call T's way faster than others. Most of them are the older refs who are tired of taking shit from these whining millionaires for the last 10-15 years. There's a group of younger refs who are much more willing to talk to the players. However, a lot of the younger refs don't make it to the playoffs. The officials now are considered all-star crews. And it's the same few crews rotating through the two conference finals. Personally, I believe that it's the players responsibility to know who is officiating and take that into account before they overreact to a call.

After a bone-head three by Artest, he gets a crucial rebounb/putback for the win. He may have saved the Lakers' season.
