To have phunkdaddy tell it, Phil Jackson won't be going no where that's tooo cold.
Ain't that right p.d.? It appears this is gonna be a Boston vs. LA final.... I don't like either team. I'm watching baseball.

Cerebus said: Graycap23 said: It certainly appears that way. I saw a look on his face one time when he went to the bench last night that I've seen consistently since his rookie season. He sticks out his lower lip, sort of shrugs his shoulders in a "yeah whatever" manner and then starts talking nonchalantly to somebody next to him on the bench. If you make the money he makes, and have been given all the labels he's been given over his career, you should be visibly angry when you're sent to the bench during game four of the Eastern Conference finals. Dude just doesn't seem to have the killer gene. Now I'm not sure if he had it once and the immediate security of large contracts took it away, or if he just never had it to begin with. I can say for sure that I've never seen it in the NBA. He's always been a great finisher, but never been great in the clutch, as a close. Lewis, I don't know what's up with that dude. Just inconsistency, I think. Because he goes through stretches like this during the regular season, too. Honestly, I just think it's been cool to see JJ Redick come through in these play-offs. Dude has been a major disappointment in the NBA so far. U are 100% correct.

Not shocking. Phoenix always comes back. Now if only they can KEEP IT UP.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
they'd better keep it up, Game 5 will tell the story, because bottom line, PHX has to win one in the Staples Center. So if they do it then, the Lakers are in a world of trouble. Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

Lakers better worry. What's up with their defense? Game 5 is always the turning point in a series.

The Lakers are going home.....they will be fine. I like the competitive nature of the Suns though.

And if they do win, they better make sure when they return to Phoenix that L.A. don't fire one up their asses. I've seen 'em do it.

I think Orlando pulls out a win at home, then Boston should wrap it up in Game 6.

I like the competitive nature of the Suns though. But the Suns 2-3 zone is clearly frustrating the Lakers.

I'll give the Suns players and coaching staff a huge amount of credit for not caving. Because the way the Lakers punked them in the first two games I really thought the series was over. I would have never guessed it would go six (it may even go seven). But I watch a lot of basketball each year, with the Lakers and Suns being two of the teams I follow closely. Right now, the Suns have the momentum in this series. They are definitely frustrating the Lakers. Sure, Bynum has disappeared due to injury again and the Lakers are missing some shots. But if the Phoenix bench plays as well as they did in game four the Lakers are going to continue to be frustrated. Game five is a must win for the Lakers, not the Suns.
If Orlando doesn't get every player to bring everything they have tonight there season is over.

Now the heat's on Boston. They HAVE to win Game 6 at home. I agree. Buuuuut, even if they loose Orlando will still have that "never been done" issue hanging over their heads. However, they did win eight straight this post season already. So I'm sure they believe they can win four in a row against Boston. At least both series have become interesting. This post season had been pretty boring until Phoenix and Orlando woke up.
