One of very few good American comedies, but i reckon South Park remains American satire king.

But, bloody hell you all need to get into British humour. It makes all this look childish.

For a new one, try The Thick Of It.....that's called actual genius satire. Or try Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle for the greatest satire television has seen since Jam.

No, it was an episode of Chappelle's Show that aired at the end of the 2nd season that showed sketches that haven't been seen before.

I saw Dave doing standup a few weeks ago at a local nightclub that is owned by one of his former tour managers. There were about seventy five people in the audience.

It's the second time I've seen him do standup at a club. The first time was about a year after he left the show. He was awesome.

This time, he was great, for about the first two and half hours. After that, he started rambling. He couldn't stop talking about walking away from the $50 million contract Comedy Central offered him.

He clearly felt that he had to walk away in order to maintain his edge and credibility, but at the same time he seems haunted by it, like he can't make up his mind whether or not he did the right thing. Anyway, he talked about it A LOT.

I ended up leaving, before his show ended, at 4:30 in the morning, after he had been on stage for about five hours.

That's kind of sad.

OMG, this Dave Chappelle "Greatest Misses" show is fucking HYSTERICAL.

The Gay KKK, wearing pink robes and hoods, politely and sweetly suggesting to their black neighbors, "so...have you considered going back to Africa?"

Only Dave Chappelle, Richard Pryor (for whom Mooney of course wrote material), or Paul Mooney would pull some shit like this.

So-called "offensive" comics and shows like Carlos Mencia and Family Guy WISH they could do racial/social comedy with a fraction of the brilliance of this shit. And these are his reject skits I'm watching!

Gay boxers calling each other "fatass" at the weigh-in...this shit is so fucking offensive.

Dave's one of my favorite comedians. The great thing about him is that you look past the jokes sometimes, you see he's speaking truth

There was one sketch from the "Lost Episodes" season where it's about men of color being haunted by their stereotypes like the devil on the shoulder thing in cartoons. It's funny but it has a message to it

I kinda thought he was at peace with the decision and admired him for his integrity.

Goes to show, though, we never really know these public figures onto whom we sometimes project so much.
