Do you really want "Jack Shephard" to jump a shark on a motorbike?
If you don't-you better let it End. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

I also want to have sex with Naveen Andrews. I'd like to have groupsex with him, Josh Holloway and Matthew Fox. .....Or I'd take them one at a time. I'm not fussy.

I agree this the show has been absolutely amazing. And in this day of mindless reality TV it is that much cooler that a show like this has lasted this long. That being said, I must confess I'm ready for it to end. The constant influx of new characters/storylines/flashbacks/forwards. To me it's wrapping up just at the right time.

Totally agree with both of you, totally amazing show. I will definitely miss it and don´t really want it to end. But then again, I love this show so much that I´d rather see it come to a logical and interesting ending before the great storyline gets ruined or people grow completely tired of it. I guess it wouldn´t really make much sense to continue that story forever, it is simply not made for that and it would ruin its greatness. I used to like "The Prisoner" back in the days but somewhere along the line, the whole plot got a bit weird. I don´t want my favorite show LOST go down that route. So, do you guys think this whole storyline of LOST was all planned out from the beginning, or was it all a work in progress. Because it is far too complicated to be something that was created in an ongoing process. Or were they really still writing the storyline while shooting the series? /\
I think the arc of the basic storyline HAD to be completed in advance with the details filled in between. I remember when there were so many Q&A sessions given by the prodcuers early on explaining what the show was and wasn't about without giving too much away. I agree that's it's far too intricate to not have the basic premise already mapped out well in advance. As far as other shows go, that's the trap of popularity right? I was REALLY into the first series of Heroes. And I don't want to state any spoilers, but when they decided to go against the grain of what the whole "future" was supposed to be just to keep popular characters afloat, it destroyed the show's credibility. It's a fine line when you're trying to suspend disbelief and just enjoy something for what it is vs. trying to inject SOME sense of reality. You already referenced Prison Break. (At least I think that was what you meant by The Prisoner". The other silly one to me is "24". I know that show has a ton of fans, but I couldn't get past the first season. The premise of the show is that the stars align for this super duper intelligent guy to infiltrate an intricate international terrorist plot and figure it all out within 24 hours. O.K. I'll come along for the ride. ONE TIME. Wait. You're telling me the premise of the show is that THE SAME GUY busts up international terrorist plots within a 24 hour period on multiple occasions? What's he up to now, eight times? Come on.... Sorry. I'm sure most will think I'm being way too analytical, but that premise is just so stupid to me that I can't watch it. O.K. rant turned off!!!!!

Thanks for the interesting reply. And no, I wasn´t talking about Prison Break but "The Prisoner", an old, very psychedelic and mysterious British show from the 1960s. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...e_Prisoner " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. ABC Expands "Lost" Finale By Extra 30 Minutes
May 4, 2010 The producers of ABC's hit drama have shot so much crucial material for the show's hugely anticipated series finale that the network has agreed to extend the last episode by an extra half-hour. When the "Lost" finale airs Sunday, May 23, the episode will run from 9 to 11:30 p.m. The overrun will air instead of the local news, with the "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost" post-finale special remaining at 11:30 p.m. ABC is expected to announce the plan on Tuesday night's episode of Kimmel. Executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof completed post-production on the finale, titled "The End," on Monday night. They sent out identical Tweets: "We're done. Amen." Lindelof recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the crew built all-new sets for the finale, and he promised that the ending would prompt more questions. The supersizing of the finale is the latest adjustment to what might as well be called "The 'Lost' Weekend." ABC is airing an "enhanced" version of the show's original two-hour pilot on May 22. The following night there's a two-hour retrospective, "Lost: The Final Journey," followed by the finale and Kimmel post-show. http://www.reuters.com/ar...C320100505

Last night was intense. 3 major characters died within 10 minutes. This show is the real deal. I'm going to miss it when it goes off the air. Thank god for the DVD sets. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
