Keep us updated (coz you know what a mosey bunch of bastards we are on here ) btw - ARM BANDS! Alright. Last update and I'm locking the thread soon. We had a lovely date yesterday. We saw an exhibit of art from 1964 I'd been wanting to check out and then we wandered around the Sculpture Garden cause it was a nice day and we had a few drinks and some food on a roofop patio and we sat and chatted some more at a picnic table off of the park. We're gonna hang out some time this week too, and still have the date next Saturday as well. Oh - and I'm a water wing girl, but if Number23 wants to call them armbands I can change my ways. |

I love museum dates. BTW, as a former lifeguard, we referred to them as bad things to put on your children if you want them to learn to swim properly. (Because they cause you to "float" vertically, not horizontally, and then kids don't want to lay horizontally on the water to swim.) The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I met him again Saturday night (we met years ago, but never really knew each other, just sorta stayed on the tangent or whatever). We flirted and such. And now we're going to coffee tonight. He seems like a nice guy and he's cute. I'm about to head out the door. So wish me luck, you guys! Can we see a pic please? Face for now.

I’ve been on 2 official dates with the guy. I’d be weirded out if I found out he was posting my picture(s) elsewhere. So a description will have to suffice - he’s tall (6’?), average build (not skinny, not muscle-y, not overweight, etc.), I wouldn’t say he’s tan but he’s not pasty-pale like me (), has short, light brown hair, a nice, square jawline, nice lips and kinda dreamy blue eyes. His sense of style is understated but definitely present. He has a clear sense of aesthetic, which I like, even if it’s not as obvious as, say, my own. He’s really smart, a good conversationalist, has a strong sense of ethics and is very considerate and attentive and sweet. I find him very attractive. |

Good on you, Carrie. It's SO you that you didn't totally obliterate this thread and answered almost every question all these nosy buggers had! If there are any future dates, how will you tell him you are a Prince mod and are a local celebrity? And have fans in Amsterdam and Limburg? >>

I always feel a bit silly admitting I help moderate a Prince fan website, but he actually thought it was kinda cool. He’s got some kinda geeky tendencies himself (which I find adorable of course), so he took it all in stride. And I mentioned visiting friends from the org in Amsterdam, so in that sense I kinda mentioned you on my second official date. lol. |

Two dates already!
In the Esquire Survey of the American Woman in the May issue, question #50 says: On average, how many dates do you go on before you have sex?
I offer on the first date. 6% 2 to 3 dates 36% 4 to 5 dates 28% 6 to 10 dates 21% As many as it takes to get married. 9% I'm thinking you're a 6 to 10 dates kinda girl.

What she's saying is she will do him when she feels like it and when the mood is right. For all you know she already done him. And yes, I know 'done him' is incorrect when it comes to grammar. But I like it better THIS way. Carrie's quote in my tagline has taken a new meaning, in this light... >>
