Do you often remember your dreams? Do you dream alot?

For some reason for the last 5 years I barely dream... I used to as a teenager and child dream so much I could wake up remember my dream fall back asleep and start up the dream right where it left off... now days if I do dream I never remember them. but for some reason last night i had the most bizarre dream... i dreamed that I was having a really in depth conversation with someone important to me I got up excused myself to go into my bathroom looked in the mirror and started to pull my eyelashes out.. I don't know why i did this in my dream ( I wasnt in a panicked state I was just casually doing this slowly) but it felt so real to me when i woke up this morning i felt to see if i actually did this! i have never ever had such a bizarre dream.. I just am curious as to if anyone has ever experience a similar dream or what they might interpret from my story

So my question to you is..

Do you dream a lot?

Do you often remember your dreams?

have you ever kept a dream journal ( I know people who have done this)

If you feel like sharing tell me about one.

And last but not least what do you think my dream could mean/represent?

Yes, I dream all the time. We all do. I think a more accurate question is "Do you often remember your dreams?"

Most my dreams are reoccurring and although the exact events may not be happening over and over again (I'd wake up if that were the case), the setting is the same. It will always be on the same hill, mountain, town, train, ship, etc. whenever it involves certain people.

I've also had dreams which came true years later. I dreamed once I stepped off a riverboat onto a dirty street and discovered a strange little vegetarian restaurant in Thailand. (I was in Tampa at the time)

2 years later, I did just that and realized what had happened once I stepped into the restaurant. Everybody thinks I'm insane but it happens all the time. And I'm NOT superstitious.

I go to dreammoods.com to interpret my dreams. Most of them have to deal with feminine sexuality eek

So my question to you is..

Do you dream a lot? Not as much as I used to

Do you often remember your dreams? Yes,but not until later on in the day

have you ever kept a dream journal? No

If you feel like sharing tell me about one.

The last dream I had was really weird. I dreamed that I was in the kitchen talking to my Mom,and my sister came in,and told my Mom that she was a lesbian(which she isn't).I remember looking at her like wtf?,and then she proceded to tell my Mom that she realized it when she kissed a transexual. I have NO IDEA where that came from. lol

And last but not least what do you think my dream could mean/represent?

As for your dream, I found this herehttp://www.dreammoods.com...ary/e2.htm

Eyelashes

To notice your eyelashes or dream that they are growing, indicates that you are trying to express yourself in some subtle or covert way. It also signifies good luck.

To dream that all your eyelashes fall off, suggests that you are having difficulties expressing yourself. It may also mean a loss in your feminine power. If only one eyelash falls off, then it also signifies good luck.

We all dream, whether we remember them or not. It's a human condition. It's how the brain survives.

I remember a good deal of my dreams. I write a lot of them down.

I don't read a lot into dreams as far as them representing something. Not most times. Sometimes it's just my brain processing what happened that day, or stress I might be under.

However, there are dreams that I find to be quite beyond the norm. Those are the ones I write down. I can usually tell when it's something more. A lot of my dreams end up happening in real life. Sometimes the next day, sometimes a couple of weeks, or even a few months after the fact. That's why I write them down, so I have a reference. I usually don't think about the reality being a former dream, until I'm in that very moment, then I get this wave washing over me, and I think "Wow, THIS is something I dreamed", and I immediately remember the dream. It's like a light switch being turned on.

My friend Gale has dreams like that. In 2000, she had a horrible dream she told me about. She saw people in panic, running everywhere. She said a couple of planes flew into buildings and caught fire. She saw another plane fly into the ground and just disappear. It sounded horrible for sure, and neither of us could make heads or tales of it. Then September 11, 2001 happened.

that's extreme that she dreamed that and it happened!!

I think its pretty cool that you write your dreams down I have a friend that does the same and she has had some of the same things happen she dreams and then a while later she has them literally happen to her!

I have stopped trying to analyze them. I realized that the dreams aren't so symbolic as they are merely me re-living/processing feelings and reactions from the day previous with whatever stimuli might make that happen, whether it's lust, peace, confusion, nostalgia..

Most of the time my dreams are so lucid that I don't tend to realize I am merely dreaming them. Sometimes they ruin my rest! mad

I have had a few different dreams that were visions of my own future, but they were brief and merely tipped me off to what setting I would be living or working in.

It's funny you should bring this topic up today... This morning I woke up to a fierce/crazy dream... I'll share...

My wife, my kids and I were all trick or treating in a posh neighborhood where we live, it was NOT Halloween, this was apparently just de rigeur ( confused )

As we were finishing we were coming down out of the mountains (there aren't really mountains where we live confused ) and we walked out onto the desert floor surrounding Las Vegas (again, no deserts and Vegas is 12hrs.by car confused )

Nearby there were several tents made of metal, corrugated metal tents and as we neared about 7-8 guys came out of them.

As we got closer they began dancing as a crew (ala America's Best Dance Crew) but they were all on Heelys (shoes with a wheel in the heel confused )

They popped and locked, they crumped, they moshed and so on... it really was quite a sight...

then I woke up...

I actually had to write all this down so I could remember it, kinda glad I did to...

A DREAM OF MY SISTERS WEDDING... A ROOM OF CHILDREN DRESSED IN WHITE...
GUNSHOTS BLAST THROUGH ALL THE WINDOWS AND WALLS. HITTIN EVERYONE IN THE ROOM.
I TRY MY HARDEST TO SAVE AS MANY CHILDREN AS POSSIBLE... MY HARDEST IS NOT ENOUGH... THIS IS A REACURING DREAM.

And last but not least what do you think my dream could mean/represent?
MY INNER MOST FEAR...AND MY INNER MOST LOVE... SIMPLY MY "INNER MOST".

I think we all dream a lot, but don't always remember what we dreamed.
Yes, quite often.
No.
I really don't. I often dream things that I'm longing to experience and sometimes waking up and thinking about it can be frustrating.
I really don't know, but I have noticed that, at least in my case, it is true that dreams deal with our most intimate desires and dilemmas. On the other hand, they can also be a mixture of several things and don't necessarily have to have a deeper meaning IMO.

I know I dreamt something last night because I remember being somewhere between when I woke up and when I laid my head down to rest, but I don't rightly recall exactly what it was. That happens a lot too.

I have dreams, but a lot of times, I only remember tiny little bits and pieces of them. The only time I seem to remember them is when I have a really odd dream that stands out in my mind. Like the time I dreamt that I was reading the paper, and there were drops of blood falling onto it. I went to a mirror to take a look, and my entire face was melting! I could see the skin on my face just melting away, exposing the flesh underneath. omg ill The dream freaked me out so much, that I think I purposely woke myself up just to get away from it. After that I was afraid to go back to sleep. boxed
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

i dream a lot. most of my dreams are surreal or have a certain
element of magic realism.

this is mainly due to the fact that i take serotonine boosters,
for chronic depression.

ever since i started taking them, about 10 yrs ago, my dreams
have become like bizarre 3d paintings or marquez/rushdie novels.

my fav dreams are the very basic simple ones where i can jump
over houses, rivers and trees. as if there's no gravity to speak
off. doing flips in the air, turning around my axis, it's just
the best feeling ever.
