Prayers, thought, whatever ya's got toss my way! My mom is going for surgery in 2 weeks or as quickly as they can arrange it.She has a 7cm mass/tumor that has affixed itself/destroyed a kidney.That is rather large... somewhere in the vicinity of a softball/grapefruit.So the kidney is coming out pronto. Shes in good health and can live on one kidney of course. As for the C word, we won't know if it is cancer until surgery. The recovery is going to be a month though.. That's a wow.
Shes only 64 but suffers from white coat disease. She hates Dr's and medical procedures.The true challenge is going to be keeping her in the game and getting her on the table. So, yeah.... Well look whom I found dipping their toe in the murky waters! :eyeroll: At least offer me a damn cup of coffee! | |
