Radio And Life Coincidences..Does This Happen To You? I recall this happening to me quite frequently. One day recently while riding around running some errands, I remember I had to go to the grocery store. I knew there were a couple of items I had to get. I remember what one of the items were. However, I couldn't remember the second item to save my life. Pulling up to my parking space guess what song came on the radio..."Forget Me Not" by Patrice Rushen. Another incident... I was doing some cleaning around the house and I cut myself on a piece of glass. I had my radio on in the house set on one of those 80's stations and shortly after I cut myself..."Hurt So Good" by John Cougar Mellencamp came on the radio...one of those things that makes you say hmmm.
Another incident I remember was when me and a couple of my buddies went to work out at the gym and the track. After we finished working out we were joking about how old we are getting. We then started talking about how when we were living with our parents, we would always say how we wish we were grown and couldn't wait to move out and do own thing. But now that we are GROWN now it seems like the years are coming so fast..too fast. We get in the car and on comes Simply Red's "Holding Back The Years" on the radio. We all just laughed out loud. It was such a coincidence. How often does this happen to you? Hearing a song on the radio that goes hand-in-hand with something you're going through.

About once a week, I'll be whistling some obscure song and then I'll enter a room, or a car will drive past, or I'll turn on the telly and the song will be playing. Its very, very strange.
