The Masters, anyone watching?

I'm watching more to use the DirecTV Mix where I get 4 channels at once to pop from golfer to golfer. It's cool and for most sports you have to pay for it.

I will say this, I've popped in only a couple of times this afternoon for Tiger and he is acting very douchey. Throwing clubs, cursing, smashing drivers into the tee box...

I really expected this to be a very demure performance or to see him just tear up the course. Like I said, I've only seen 3 of his shots, but I've seen a tantrum on each. The dude with him, Choi is staying very focused, to his credit. It's gotta be a weird vibe out there.

Mickelson Couples and Watson are leading? That was a surprise too. How old is Tom Watson or Couples for that matter?
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

first round leaders always seem to come outta left field...

but both of those guys are way too old to go clubbing...

going in the hole is what got him in trouble in the first place..lol
Tiger is doing better than I expected..two eagles, shoulda had 3..his demeanor isn't that bad..he's actually talking and laughing with K.J.Choi... Couples and Watson had great rounds today..

Channel 701 for DirecTV users. 702-705 has other coverage as well.

That's a pet peeve.

I like Tiger generally and his talent is undeniable, but every time I'm at an event and a dude tees off on a 600 yard par 5, some jackass is yelling "In the hole" and I think "God damn you Tiger Woods".

I'm pretty sure jackassery predates Tiger.

Of course! I don't follow golf as much as I used to, but I will ALWAYS be glued to the TV for all Masters coverage.

OK, let's test your Masters knowledge:

1. What golf pro created the Masters?
2. Who hit the most famous double eagle in golf there?
3. What is the bridge on number 12 called?
4. What is Saturday called?
5. Name the holes in Amen Corner.
6. And why is it called Amen Corner?
7. What pupil of famous golf teacher Harvey Penick won the Masters the week Penick was buried?
8. What are the two amateur tournaments you can win to qualify for the Masters?
9. Which president has a tree named after him on #17?
10. The winner gets a green jacket, but what color jacket do the MEMBERS wear?

Good luck!

I was going to watch it. But by chance I stumbled across a box of pins; so I've since been occupied with sticking each pin carefully into my eyes.

people who shout "GET IN THE HOLE" after the drive on a par 5 should be slapped about the head then escorted off the course.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

www.masters.org

They have live video on, including a feature group.

Which just happens to be Tiger Woods' group.

He's hitting his approach to 11 right now...and.....short and right of the flag.

Tiger Gets A Booty Call At The Masters biggrin

Here’s a banner that was being towed by a plane over Augusta National Golf Club yesterday as Tiger Woods was teeing off on the first hole of The Masters tournament.

The sign is referencing Tiger’s claim that he has recently turned to Buddhism to help him through his recent ordeal.

There's another one that flew over this morning that said something like, "Sex Addict? Yeah, right. I'm a sex addict, too"

Phil Mickelson eagled 13 and 14 and almost eagled 15 (got a birdie). That's a five-shot swing, if you're keeping score at home. Before his first eagle, Mickelson was five shots off the lead, after than run he was in first.

They don't call Saturday "Moving Day" for nothing!

BTW, NO ONE took a stab at my quiz? Dang.

Awesome final round. About 5 or 6 players were in with a shout and could've won it had a few things gone differently. Great viewing (even if it was in the wee small hours for me lol )
