Wow. Amazing story, Chris! From start to where you are now.

And I love how Prince's music was there at a pivotal moment in your life.

I am jealous of your grasp of the French language. I lived in Paris for two years and I never got beyond ordering beer and croissants in French.

Not at the same time! My boulanger did not sell pressions.

Je voudrais deux pressions, svp. The spelling is off, probably, cuz I used to say it, not write it down.

That is so cool!

And totally inspiring. Not in a meaningless, Hallmark way, either. I was born with health issues that have caused serious problems in the past couple of years, and I sometimes start feeling sorry for myself.

Your story has made me feel humbled and hopeful.

YAY BLUEFISH!
It's what you make it.

Can I ask you a question, Chris?

What do you do when the physical pain and emotional difficulty of being dependent on others becomes too much?

How do you deal with those feelings and decide to keep on keeping on?

These are questions that I'm beginning to wrestle with (though not to the extent that you must have to), and it would be helpful to hear how someone else copes and keeps doing what they've gotta do.
