Inmate Who Escaped, Returned Gets 20 Years Just how dumb does one have 2 be?
WOODBINE, Ga -- An inmate who broke out of the Camden County jail, then returned after stealing 14 packs of cigarettes, has been sentenced to 20 years for the escapade. Prosecutors said the inmate, 26-year-old Harry Jackson of St. Marys, popped his cell's electronic lock and went to the exercise yard last year to retrieve cigarettes that were supposed to be tossed in over a fence. They said when the contraband failed to appear, Jackson scaled the fence, broke a window at a convenience store and grabbed the cigarettes. Deputies arrested him when he returned to the jail. http://www.wsbtv.com/news...etail.html

not in Holland. over here you could escape from jail,
rob the store, kill all the clerks, smoke a cigarette and push out the stub in the prime minister's eye and still get only 2 years extra jailtime. at most. that is, if you didn't have to go in for a psychiatric evaluation first, which, in this country, would result in a slap on the wrist, and them sending you home with a carton of cigarettes and a lolli pop for you troubles. wich is worse? you decide. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
