In sori's defense, he's an infielder.

He can still hit the shit out of the ball!

For the money Sori's being paid the Cubs haven't gotten a good rate of return for their money. To be fair trying to make him a lead off batter was a mistake, but his numbers don't look like anything they did before he play with the CUBS. If they had to do all over again, I bet they would've passed signing him.

Would've, should've but did, oh well.

that's why those big contracts suck. You risk not living up to it, although still producing just fine. Better to take a more modest contract IMO and then the pressure is off.

We yankee fans know PLENTY about underperforming superstars these past 9 years. disbelief

Sabathia is throwing great but Braden has the same 2 - 0 record and actually has a lower ERA so far.

dude, the A's are like that cute little cousin from Cali that every now and then pins you while play wrestling over summer break.

The Sox are like the bum on the corner that smells of beer, urine and failure.

Well despite the Yankees turning a triple play, first one in 40 years, my A's managed to salvage one game out of the series.

I watched highlights of the game when I got home last night and I honestly never knew the pitcher's mound was such sacred ground. Sure, A-Rod was up to his usual antics, but to get so incensed over it was surprising.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure it's not over. The A's play the Yankees 7 more times this season, 3 in Oakland in early July and 4 in NY at the end of August beginning of Sept.

Baseball has all kinds of "unwritten rules" and etiquette and I guess crossing the pitchers mound like that is one of them.
