They certainly did surprise me.... I was so confused. It wasn't even my birthday or anything. My sweetie did it just because.

Great moment. heart

Today on our Anniversary the postman just delivered a box from the artist known as John Gascot, addressed to both of us.

I will wait til hubby gets home to open it.

excited

John Gascot is the sweetest, most generous orger. I hope to meet him in person one day.

Dan has a stash of funny photoshop photos that I am sure he would be willing to share. lol

One thing I can say...Mr. Perfect pisses me off when he leaves paper towels (kitchen roll) in his pant (trouser) pockets and I find it when I open the dryer door.
Just happened and if he were here, I would ring his neck.
I guess if that is the worst thing he does to annoy me then we will be ok.
I need to start a thread "what is the most annoying thing your spouse or partner does".

Too many to mention but here's a few:

Charlotte turning me into a rare albino pink dolphin...

And Dan turnin me into his...john

And subsequently teaching myself how to photoshop enough to get by and retaliate.

The sheer ridiculousness of the Snuggie thread.

Hairy Bear mushy

Prince Chikkunz n Biscuit (might have been my first thread to become an Org-hit ever. touched)

My favorite thing, of course is meeting with orgers in person. mushy

^^^^^ falloff @ Johart's photos

If it comes down to threads alone and stuff like that... hmmm

I used to love the yahoo chats with me, Muse, Andrea, littleMissG, some of the Dutch orgers, Fauxie, subhuman, Bev, Ocean, cuddles, Ariel, PurpleThunder, and a few other folks. We'd chat from time to time and just laugh at our silly jokes.. It seemed like we'd have our chats at the beginning of each year.

We all got busy, splintered off, and got preoccupied I guess, but it was a great deal off fun. I owe those little yahoo chats, inspired by PurpleThunder and Muse for my meeting all the orgers that I've met.

But when it comes to the threads themselves, good god... lol

I love some of the ones I've started (of course) like
the UTCM, and Mullet Haired one. Seeing the witches of orgwick, Fauxie, and
several of the 'contributors' express/manifest their insane creativity has given me
at least a few hours of laughter (no joke). Also having been given the opportunity
to tell the batdick joke to at least 50 people means I've spoken to 50 different
voices on the org, if only briefly. Each conversation was cute and fun for me.

I also love how you can read a thread by a total stranger and 'connect' with
them strictly through dialogue. It's amazing that friendships can be formed
in this way, but it's also endearing. I love the people I've connected with
here and have met many of them. One can dub it cliquish I guess, but these
bonds I've formed are curiously profound to me, yet benign to the rest of you
that I'm amused when people hang labels on them. I love my friends.

I love you guys.

Thanks for the years and laughter. lol

My moment was back in August 2009 when Anxiety was still a mod. There was a thread with a title like "Is This Kid Too Old To Be Riding In A Stroller?"

I went to a library in a nearby town. It has a cute children's section with 3 computers in it. No one was there that day only the librarians and they were in an ajacent room. I put my daughter on computer B and set it up so she could do "GirlsGo Games or whatever the hell it's called and I went on computer A and of course got right on the org.

I checked into the stroller thread and Anxiety was in rare form, just bitchen about seeing this kid drinking coffee while being pushed around in a stroller. Well of course I had to bust out laughing, but I tried holding it in 'cause the library was so quite. Instead, unfortunately, I let out a big toot.

My daughter, on computer B, said in her most disgusted voice ever, 'MOM, YOU JUST FARTED whofarted
Well that did it, I started laughing, giggling, chuckling uncontrollably.

Then I hear the librarians in the other room, who can't even see me, laughing. They said that my laugh was contageous and they came over to see what was so funny. Then I showed them the thread. Of course they didn't laugh as hard as i did though, they might have had I not left out the part about the farting.

Since I don't have a computer at home i have had a few times of public laughter where people looked at me. However, i have learned not to hold in the laughter and since then i have not had a public tooting attack since.
There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.
