Are you talking about possums native to Australia, or opossums in the USA,
which are called possums for short? I have them in my backyard, and they're
the sweetest, most gentle creatures.....unfortunately they have way too
many predators, so if they make it to 4 years, they're doing well.

They do hiss and growl when they're frightened, but they don't hurt anyone
or anything.

Also, there's these weird ass lizards that like to hang out in public bathrooms and make funny noises.

My mom said the G.I.'s who used to be stationed in Thailand called them "FUCK YOU" lizards because they make a squeaking sound that sounds a bit like they're telling you off... "fuck you!"

lol It does sound a bit like "fuck you!" doesn't it. They're 'tukgae' though (after the sound they make, though I prefer 'fuck you' giggle )

This one was on our bedroom wall. It's pretty rare for them to be in the house upstairs. Do get the odd 'jing'jok' though. Downstairs it's a bloody zoo. lol

No, they are all lovely and have a purpose.

This is the only 'critter' that ought not to exist.

a snake in our car:

a frog on my shoes:

and another one in my laundry too:

scorpio in our kitchen

and a spider:

And I totally forgot to mention the bats who were living in our bedroom all the time, but there are no good photos of them just like of the tarantulas in our bedroom and kitchen or the huge cokroaches.

Oh my, just looking at this made me feel uncomfortable! I am fascinated with the animal world, I adore learning more about animals, especially exotic ones, but I think I would die if I saw most of them face to face boxed

In a way they look more scary on photo than in RL. But I must confess I was terrified once when a rather big snake suddenly moved inside the toilet. I couldn't even see it properly as I wasn't wearing my contact lenses. So I just told my bf with a kinda trembling voice that I think I just saw a snake in the toilet and that he please get rid of it lol. When there was a huge birdspider (about the size of my hand) in the kitchen when I was alone at home late in the evening I tried to stay calm and just hoped it would not go into the bedroom and went to sleep. We had another one that big right above our bed once. And a family of those but a little smaller and not as dark then the ones we had in our house lives in a tree hole right in front of my bf's shop. This is one member of them. My ex took the photos when I was there the first time. Many tourists flip out when they see it, but I think it's kinda cute. Just look at those eyes mushy lol.

I was a bit worried, it was really big and nearly black, but I was tired and I had only candle light and that makes you really tired when you are alone. So I just hoped he would see it when he comes home some hours later that night and fell asleep pretty quick. But trust me you would not believe how scared I can be about some things wink. And I would never sleep in a tent if I could avoid it giggle. When told my bf he couldn't believe it.
