Bugger. I'm out of cookies.

This fucks up my Sunday coffee/cookie routine of going through the shitload of posts on Facebook and now, also, here.

So. I am grumpy.

Anyways. Do you have a Sunday morning routine?

In this respect, I miss Paris very much. Normally, I would wake up early, shower, dress and go to the baker's early to get croissants while they were still warm and have a wonderful breakfast with coffee and OJ.

Then I would OR walk up the Avenue to Pte de Clichy (bad weather option) to get the Sunday newspaper or take the metro to Jardin des Tuileries (good weather option) to get it there and read it, sitting in the gardens, enjoying the weather.

Man, I cannot wait til spring and get a new routine right here in Amsterdam!

OK if I DID have one, it would be like this:

sleep until I wake up NATURALLY
(so I don't mean herd of elephants in the kitchen or angle-grinders or rubbish trucks outside)

waffles in bed, made by someone else who is really good as making them (at the very least as good as me)

doze off a bit more, some snuggly boff

maybe go to have lunch somewhere with friends and beer

bowling

doze off on the couch

wake up and all the washing up, laundry and vacuuming was all done - like MAGIC!

AND all that time, the kids only smiled and snuggled and never made any sounds or demands

Too late, too late. You already let them take the upperhand. They won't EVER give it back.

if I make waffles, it's never enough for them, they have to watch me eat them all, forlornly looking on. I'm pretty sure they would be very happy to learn to make it nod

When I told my two nephews that in MY house there would be NO television or ANY computer game, they shuddered and finally stopped making so much noise.

They're scared of me now...
