Flood of 2010

Rhode Island is pretty much under water right now. I have friends who have not inches, but FEET of water in their basements and their cars completely submerged. The major highway is shut down in one area as well as numerous Routes and sides streets. This is just terrible sad

We're all safe, it's just a nuisance and the cleanup/repair is going to take a looooong time.

Wow, that is horrible. It's been so nice here that it's hard to comprehend what's going on there. I hope y'all dry out soon.

Aww thanks Miguel! hug I'm fine, I am very, very lucky that me and my family weren't affected by this too badly. My mom got a little bit of water in the basement but the sump pump and french drains kept most of it away.

My friends have had some pretty big losses. Hoping FEMA will help them out pray

Carrie, my best wishes to your family. Floods are horrid. rose hug

I graduated from Grand Forks Central High School. (unimportant trivia)

This will not be their first rebuild in GF. They flooded out in the 1990s to.

They are flooding now to. It's been going on for weeks. I think the Red River crested at over 40 ft above bank level a couple of weeks ago.
