I am not a chocolate fan, but when I do have a craving for chocolate, a Hershey's Kiss hits the spot
If you ever visit Hershey, Pennsylvania, the whole air smells of chocolate

I could come up with some sophisticated answer here, but the truth is I'm a chocolate whore. I'll take almost any chocolate.

In one sense I agree (it's all good), but I've gotten snobby about all things food in my old age. If I'm gonna brave the calories, dammit, I want it to be GOOD. I'll take cadbury over hersheys EVERY time. |

Well, in Czech Republic they're selling cheaper "chocolates". They're not real chocolates, they are more like vegetable fat mixed with something brown I'm sure you won't like it [Edited 4/2/10 7:51am]

I'll take cadbury over hersheys EVERY time. I need to become a little more snobby. Actually, I need to exercise a little restraint. Yesterday, I caved in and had the dark chocolate peanut butter chip cookie from Levain Bakery. It was orgasmic (and high-quality), but I've gotta repent today. It was so worth it, though.

They just don't know that what they're talking about is far from chocolate! But I suppose you can buy some high-quality chocolates there as well?

Perhaps international brands have encountered the same degradation. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Perhaps international brands have encountered the same degradation. I can understand. My parents and everyone who lived here during socialism say that the quality of most products was so much better when they were children, although most of our products were never comparable to those from western Europe. Thank God we live so close to Italy because here, even if you have money that you are willing to spend, you can hardly buy a good product, especially if we're talking about food. Except for homemade/homegrown things that are, of course, a different story.

I bought it in a cute food shop in Italy, but they don't have it anymore It was one of the best chocolates I have ever tasted. Does it sound familiar to you? Because I think it was a German company, but I can't remember for sure
