I'm usually great at figuring out any little problems I have w/ a computer, but this one has stumped me.



I can't remember what I didn't install, but I get these characters at times, instead of a font. Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of this problem? I know there's a missing font, but I don't know what it could be.

PC
Windows XP Home, SP3
Firefox 3.0.x is the browser I'm using.

I checked this page in IE, and those characters are just square hollow boxes, nothing inside them.

View....Encoding.....then click on Auto-select

Under the icon "details" there are two options about asian languages , if they are marked , then unmark them and click apply.

Tools>Options>Display>Advanced>"Allow messages to use other fonts".

Could you disable it I wonder.

Well.....thanks guys, but none of that worked. I found the advanced settings, and just nothing helped. I'm stumped.
