Missed it. But I want that DVD set. Saw most of the shows and Richard Pryor was ahead of its time. No doubt when the Wayans went on creating "In Living Color", they used one of its main writers and cast members: Paul Mooney. nod

Yes, it was! I could see why it didn't last long. NBC's audience back in the late 70's, seeing the brilliance that I saw yesterday? OH HELL NO, they just weren't ready and couldn't handle none of that.

I'd only seen a few clips on Youtube. Will definitely be ordering the DVD set. It's a must have-er for real! I laughed harder yesterday than I have all year combined.

Thanks Richard, you're still the motherfucking BEST!!! heart

Dammit!

The TJMS was playing the audio of his classic "First Black President" sketch the other day. Absolutely hysterical.

So much of the content is so relevant even today.

And are you kidding me? They couldn't handle it back then? Some of that shit wouldn't be allowed on TV right NOW! lol
