There is a thread that I would like to start and I want to post a few pictures to really pound my point home, but I do not have any serverspace to host my pictures.

Has anyone found any sites that will host pictures (free would be best) and allow you to link them into the threads? I remember people were talking about photobox.uk and while it is true that they allow you to host pictures they don't seem to work as links.

Is it possible to use my yahoo photo album?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For the record I don't think my isp provides space, but I'm not really sure as I've never had reason to check.

It might be worth it for you to check with your ISP.

They all want money, if you are going to do more than just point folks to your website. Perhaps linking to images causes too many hits for a free site?

It's tedious, but you might have to shop around and read the fine print. Most places won't let you link to images for free.

Yahoo! has been cracking down too, they all want money.

Sony has sort of a website where you can post your photo albums. don't remember how it's called though, sorry.

Hey I did a search and realized what I want to do is called "hot linking" and there is actually software that allows servers to keep people from doing this "hot linking" which is why some sites don't work.

Anyway... after I realized what it was called I did a google search for "free hot linking web hosts" and came across a list of places that allow free hot linking.
