Before we moved, I put a ton of candles in every room. At a point, it was probably slight overkill, but they were gorgeous lit, and all our friends wanted to crash our place during 2003's U.S./Canadian blackout.
We don't have the room now for that sort of thing, but I would like to arrange some candle groupings in one or two handy niches around our flat. I've enjoyed vanilla (floral candles make my eyes water for some reason  ), but these days I'm feeling plain old unscented, undyed natural beeswax candles.  They look AMAZING all together, and while anything that burns kicks off certain pollutants, I feel a bit better without the thought of unpronouncable trace additives floating through the air...
