I have worked on bladder cancer research now for 15 years, this year we may finally be taking some of our work into phase II clinical trials. I am sorry that this will be too late for your dad, but I thought you might get some comfort from the fact that we are trying and getting there, albeit slowly. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard! | |

I nearly lost my mum a couple of weeks ago, she had an aneurysm Oh No!!! Is she okay now? [Edited 4/9/10 5:14am] She had been complaining of a sore head all day so she had an early night. My dad woke up about 2 in the morning and she was vomitting so he called the doctor. When the doctor came my mum wouldn't let him anywhere near her, which was really out of character so he called for an ambulance. Doctors told us that with the type of aneurysm only 1 in 3 make it to the hospital and 1 in 3 only make it out They operated on her which was coiling. They send a wire in through a vein in the groin which goes all the way up to her brain and coils off the blood vessel. She's back home and seems to be doing fine. love you mum. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
