Here's a good example of how bad makeup can make a good looking woman look like a clown - this is a host of a dating show on Icelandic TV:
I don't know if she looks more like a clown or a drag-queen in the pic above. 
The headline on the magazine cover is "Men are afraid of me" - well duh, if you look like THAT when you're picking up guys - hell I would run away too!

The only one that actually looked okay after applying was the black, violet, and silver grey color. It did smear a little even though they swore it was smear-proof. But it looked good.
