Gary Larson is and will always be a genius!!!! I have so many of his calendars and mugs, t-shirts. Love him!!!!

Oh yeah, love Gary Larson. I was sad when he decided not to do The Far Side any more. My aunt used to give me one of those daily cartoon calendars every year for Christmas. I've also got some of his collection books, including Bride of the Far Side. I think he called his cartoons Nature's Way before he called them The Far Side. Those were funny too, but a little more crude.

The Far Side is probably the only comic strip I can say without reservation that I totally love. There were so many that were just brilliant.

For whatever reason, the one that always stood out most to me was one of lions on the hunt. I think they were stalking a zebra and another lion emerges from the weeds exclaiming, "HEY WHAT YOU GUYS UP TO"?

It shows the zebra hearing them "converse" and the rest of the lions pissed off at being outed.

Priceless....

I like the one where the cat hired an elephant assassin to kill a mouse and told the elephant to "make it look like an accident." HIlarious!

I actually thought I had seen them all from various collections, but I don't recall the first one you attached on here, (sprinkling the jerks into the mix). So I'm either getting old and senile, or have simply missed some.

Looks like I may need to get a new book now.
