There's gotta be something... Oh, come on! Three little facts? Surely you haven't divulged all your interesting tidbits to the Org yet?? Well, it's not like I'm a riveting personality to begin with. 1. In my younger years, I got... um... "close" to persons from 5 of the 6 inhabited continents. (Sorry South America.) And while I didn't plan it, somehow 95% of them turned out to be... Jewish. 2. I was married pretty darned young for an American male: at age 23. And I must be reasonably decent at it -- it's been 14 years now. 3. I'd easily be pegged a conservatively dressed "Banana Republic type" these days, but I rocked some pretty wild dreads for about 7 years. I periodically separated the roots, so they weren't gargantuan and natty like a Rasta's, but I also let them lock naturally (as opposed to thinly twisting or braiding them), so they weren't pretty-boy sleek and manicured. They were kinda like Lenny Kravitz's. Anyway, my wife was REALLY pissed when I shaved them about 8 years ago, and she saved a couple locks. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I graduated high school having never dated and was married 10 months later.
I own more Legos than any grown man not employed by the company should. I can put both my legs behind my head...I mean I think I still can, haven't tried in a while. ===== I'll probably regret divulging all this. I sound like a younger version of the 40 year old virgin.

And I would respond, Why didn't you make your move or just let me know you were interested? Both guys were white and cute as hell. Both were afraid to ask me out, so I never dated them and once they saw me with a black man, they just faded away. So would you now if you weren't married?

So would you now if you weren't married? probably not. i'd still be afraid. there isn't anything remotely 'street' about me, and i think i would just get laughed at as a dorky white guy if i tried to talk to a black woman. i know that not every black woman likes the same kind of man, but the fear is still there...and fear or hesitation never works well when chatting up girls, no matter their colour. everyone's a fruit & nut case

Hey, some of us like "dorky" ....there's lots of corny black guys too, just read the posts here. but after dating men of different cultures, the culture I grew up with is the one I fasten to. Its hard trying to get someone to understand you culturally, so I have gotten to lazy to want to date out of my culture now. I think I shouldn't give up,maybe I should keep an open mind too. I understand your fears and thoughts from my own experience. [Edited 3/25/10 18:39pm]

I have no idea who you are (as you since to have risen to fame in the period I was on my Org Break®) but up to four years ago I used to have a dedicated Lego room, where I kept my collection, sorted on type o' brick. When I was 21 I had not 'played' with Lego's since I was 13 or so. Then I got real sick, resulting in being at home for three months. She had friends come over in a schedule, so I would not be bored. One of those friends, a younger guy I used to babysit, then said "If only you were a kid, we could have played with Lego's, like when you used to sit me". Half an hour later we were surrounded by the huge collection I then already had. We had so much fun building my mom slipped out and got us a Lego train. It was a guilty secret of mine for a few years. Every year I would buy the biggest set I could get my hands on. Then they started releasing Star Wars boxes, which was another one of my youth addictions. For four years I bought every set they released. I made the mistake of joining my then 8 year old nephews to a Lego fair here in Holland. And when I saw the adults going gaga over Lego I realised that I was NOT like them at all. LoL When I saw the total dedication of my nephews, I decided to give them all my Lego's a few months later, when they turned 9. Cuz I don't "play" with lego's anymore and they do. I just collected. And going to the fair showed me I was not nearly nutty enough, lol But every now and then I see a set and my fingers start itching. I think I am going to buy a set today... >>

Cool, glad its not just me.
I actually have a room with all my legos stored in the closet. I think some got taken from my storage unit I had before but I had too damn many so it's hard to tell. You were cooler about sharing your Legos than I was. I didn't let my daughter mess with mine until she recently moved back here. She's 8 now. I guess I'll eventually pass them all down to her since she has developed a pretty serious interest in building with them. And I like that set you posted. Haven't kept up recently. Didn't even know they existed. But I basically just built most of my buildings from scratch, didnt use many sets building-wise. Sadly enough, I constructed a small town...houses, bank, jail, pawn shop, restaurant/casino...and a bunch of other shit. This probably relates directly to my lack of a g/f for the longest.
