How many times a day do u eat? My stepmom eats 5 meals a day most of the time and she gets upset when shes reminded of her weight. I believe in staying in shape and I'm pretty skinny. I only eat one meal a day and its mostly been that way since i was in 9th grade which was 5 years ago. IDK WHY i just find myself getting hungry only in the evening time. So how many times do u eat in a day? do u do it cuz ur actually hungry? or do u do it cuz u just love food? | |

Sometimes on weekends it will be 2 meals and 1 snack. Or 1 meal and 4 snacks. I generally consume about the same amount of calories each day, no matter how many times that's broken up into, though. Eating one meal a day isn't good enough for most people. You need nourishment to sustain you and give you energy more often than that. It is also thought to slow down metabolism, making it easier to gain weight if you DO eat more than your usual amount of calories. |

I eat 3 healthy meals a day and a snack around 3:00. I've been able to maintain my weight very well since I started eating better about 3 years ago. I try to eat all types of foods and I make sure I eat lots of fruit, veggies and protein. | |

Varies. Maybe that's why I'm so thin. Some days I don't eat a meal at at, just a piece of fruit or some raisins. I have gone for days without eating anything but crackers and milk. Not that I'm a poor, but I just didn't have an appetite. When I do feel like eating, I eat breakfast and lunch or dinner. I never have 3 squares a day though. That's very rare. | |

I'm learning to eat more often... when I was young I was skinny... eating maybe once, twice a day... then I got older and ate two large meals and took meds and got HUGE. So now I eat 3 meals making breakfast the largest meal of my day and snack when ever I have an urge to eat.
I'm still overweight but I am dropping it off slowly. | |

2-4 times a day, I'd say. I try to eat less as the day goes by, meaning breakfast is easily my biggest meal. For dinner I'll often just have a salad or some fruit. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!! | |

I aim for three, but sometimes I skip breakfast when I have to work early (and then feel gross mid-morning). Breakfast and lunch are usually pretty light. Main meal is dinner. I don't usually eat between meals at all. "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? Do I look it up in a Fag-to-English dictionary?" | |

Just two meals a day: lunch and dinner. I hardly ever eat breakfast, because I'm never hungry when I get up in the morning anyway. Why eat if you're not hungry? I know doctors now say that you should eat small meals every two hours. That would never work for me, because I have a very poor metabolism. That's what happens once you reach a certain age. I remember when I was in my late teens/early twenties I could eat whatever I wanted, and not gain an ounce of weight. Not any more! RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |
