Woohoo!

I got to vent for a minute!

What not everybody on here knows is that I had a couple of ruff years, ending in a long stint of unemployment that drove me up the wall.

But last week I had a job interview for a job at a store here in Amsterdam. I just got the call that I am hired! It means that a lot is going to change the coming weeks and months for me!

It's a bit of a step back, career-wise, but I go back to something I have done for years in the past; lots of retail experience here. So it's something I already know, even though it's a new product I am going to work with.

So I am reeeeeally happy right now, wearing a HUGE grin and am full of energy; I can't wait to get started!

I GOT THE JOB!

Thanks! It took me a YEAR to get one. I have been trying to find a job in the area I had been working previously, but the competition was just too damn' tough (younger, cheaper).

So I decided to step somewhat down the ladder, which is not too bad, actually.

I hope you find one soon as well!
