About Thai men and western women, a fair few guys here are attracted to western women, especially blondes, but interestingly you very, very rarely see a high profile male celebrity with a partner who's not Thai.

I agree about most western men who live here for a certain period changing to like almost exclusively Thai women. I can't say I really share that strength of preference, but I do see it all around me. It's like a western guy can come over with his girlfriend and is totally in love with her just so long as they don't stay here longer than a month or two and then the Thai girl thing creeps up on them. Me, I remember as a youngster Yahoo chatting for the first time when the internet was all new and incredible to me, feeling really disappointed when this girl 'Crystal' turned out to be from Singapore rather than the US as I'd previously thought. If anything I was less attracted to Asians than any other women, but ended up marrying a Thai. It was only after I hooked up with Mon that I fbegan to find Asian women more attractive, but still for me it's only a relatively small part of generally preferring women with tan or dark skin and dark hair.

And yes, girls at that age (between 18 and 25) are very emotionally immature here---mostly because they're upper class or VERY uppger class daughters of generals, political whatever, business owners, who have never had to work in their lives... I mean, NEVER.

I asked one of my classes (Because part of my curriculum is teach them business English... writing resumes, etc.) if they'd ever filled out a job applications. EVERY ONE OF THOSE FUCKERS said 'no'.

Sleep with them, or screw them as in forget about them? The thing is, they're not all snobby and malicious, they've just grown up in this little bubble of privilege and conformity. My wife might be termed by some as 'lo-so' (low society) here, but we've friends who are supposedly 'hi-so' too and it all comes down to attitudes. Not all the people from wealthier backgrounds think the same, it's just some have grown up in circumstances so vastly different to the majority that they haven't quite grown fully as a person because of it, haven't had certain experiences or been forced to think deeply about certain things.
