About Thai men and western women, a fair few guys here are attracted to western women, especially blondes, but interestingly you very, very rarely see a high profile male celebrity with a partner who's not Thai.

I agree about most western men who live here for a certain period changing to like almost exclusively Thai women. I can't say I really share that strength of preference, but I do see it all around me. It's like a western guy can come over with his girlfriend and is totally in love with her just so long as they don't stay here longer than a month or two and then the Thai girl thing creeps up on them. lol Me, I remember as a youngster Yahoo chatting for the first time when the internet was all new and incredible to me, feeling really disappointed when this girl 'Crystal' turned out to be from Singapore rather than the US as I'd previously thought. If anything I was less attracted to Asians than any other women, but ended up marrying a Thai. falloff It was only after I hooked up with Mon that I fbegan to find Asian women more attractive, but still for me it's only a relatively small part of generally preferring women with tan or dark skin and dark hair.

I'll have one of these purse in PURPLE please. biggrin

It doesn't pay to say Prince is gay in this forum. Few folk here take themselves too seriously. Everyone just eats it up and laugh. You have to go say it in M&M to get maximum enjoyment. lol

Oh fuck, Nick... We just turned this thread into a Dan/Fauxie lovefest again.

Now that you're in Thailand I can justify working Thai-themed stuff into nearly every thread I enter. lol hug It's like there's a little Thaitown element to prince.org now. woot!

Can't wait for Carrie to come over, though I'm wondering if there's going to be any time left after her yoga, pilates, vegetarian hippy camp stuff.

lol

I'm coming for 4 weeks. We'll have tons of time! yay!

And yes, girls at that age (between 18 and 25) are very emotionally immature here---mostly because they're upper class or VERY uppger class daughters of generals, political whatever, business owners, who have never had to work in their lives... I mean, NEVER.

I asked one of my classes (Because part of my curriculum is teach them business English... writing resumes, etc.) if they'd ever filled out a job applications. EVERY ONE OF THOSE FUCKERS said 'no'. lol

Spoiled brats.

They're like these super cute, super charming, very fun, unfinished people... Vacant and unsophisticated---and it isn't the 'culture' per say so much as their privileged upbringing in that culture.

Sleep with them, or screw them as in forget about them? lol The thing is, they're not all snobby and malicious, they've just grown up in this little bubble of privilege and conformity. My wife might be termed by some as 'lo-so' (low society) here, but we've friends who are supposedly 'hi-so' too and it all comes down to attitudes. Not all the people from wealthier backgrounds think the same, it's just some have grown up in circumstances so vastly different to the majority that they haven't quite grown fully as a person because of it, haven't had certain experiences or been forced to think deeply about certain things.

Yeah, but that's exactly the kind of people that I admire the most: those who have thought about things that were, at least on paper, completely "alien" to them, for whatever the reason: high social "level", nationality, etc... In other words, I truly respect those young snobs who truly prove that they have brain, guts and personal opinion...not many though neutral (personal experience)
