I've found out that it would also be relatively easy to get a Thai passport since I'm Luk Krueng and my mom is Thai...and I was born in Thailand.

See, girls/women like Mon or her mother, from that background and social class, are hard as nails by 16 years old and have already worked several jobs by the time they're the age of those rich girls. They're so distinctly different in every way, it's funny. Even just in appearance, their dress, make-up, even their hair (and of course, their skin). Such a divide. Often the two just don't mix, but not always.
