I literally can't even understand this.

I never, ever forget to eat. My stomach growls, it's hard to concentrate, all I can think of is food when I'm hungry. And unless I go to a buffet or otherwise eat a massive quantity of food, the hunger pangs start at most two hours after I've eaten, usually sooner.

Breakfast-skipping I can't even fathom. I NEVER leave the house without breakfast, no matter how late I am - even if it's just grabbing some peanut butter crackers on my way out of the house. How can you function without some food?? hmm I wake up ravenous!

And no, I'm not hypoglycemic. I've been tested for all that stuff. I just burn fuel like a gas guzzling SUV.

You are a freak of nature.

So how many times do u eat in a day? do u do it cuz ur actually hungry? or do u do it cuz u just love food?

Yes, and yes.

I eat when I'm hungry. No rhyme or reason.
But at 1:00 in the morning, I usually always eat Ramen.
I have no idea why, but I crave it. lol

I know, there are totally two camps on this. I've known lots of people who have that reaction.

If I'm busy, I can easily forget to eat. It's not like I don't feel it eventually. I get cranky, I just don't stop to think about WHY I'm cranky. lol

But I never reaaaaally feel like eating before about 10am (it makes me nauseous to think about it, often), and going 8 hours without eating is no big deal.

I have also come to realize that I just don't like food as much as some people. I believe that I like food, but then I listen to some people talk about it and realize that I don't LOVE it, I just appreciate it, and there's a difference.

In related news, why the fuck am *I* fat and *you're* skinny, eh? Life is unfair. wink

I also have an inverse reaction to most girls I know with depression. I can't eat when I'm down. I can't tell you how many nights I've gone to bed on just a glass of soymilk to keep my stomach from yelling at me long enough to go to sleep, cuz I just don't want to eat.

Given that, and considering how much of the last 5 years I've spent battling truly fierce depression, again, it just pisses me off that I'm fat. lol

Eh, who the fuck knows. I was scolded by my midwives and sent to nutritionists throughout my pregnancies for insufficient weight gain, even though I was eating like a champion.

I definitely fall into the food lovers camp.

shrug I just do. lol If I become really concentrated on something,or busy trying to get many things done, time just flies, and before I know it,it's almost dinner time. I don't do this daily, but occasionally it happens.

Honestly, it depends on how hours a day this Chinese dude is working down at the restaurant I frequent. If he's only doing the morning shift, I might only eat one meal that day.

If he's pulling a double, I'll take 3 or 4 meals thanks.

Same here. I cannot think about food before 10 am or I want to vom.
I do the cranky thing too and last week I almost passed out in the grocery store at about 1pm because I forgot to eat.
I too cannot eat when depressed, I have to force myself to nibble on something.
When I am anxious or PMS'ing, I am the opposite.

I love food some times.

If we're talking about real "meals", I only have that once a day, which is sometime in the afternoon usually.

In the morning, I usually just eat an apple or - sometimes - I do have some cereals, but I'm not that hungry in the morning, usually.

In the evening, I tend to get quite hungry, but too lazy to actually cook, so I only take a snack and/or a yoghurt.

During the work week.....I really only eat one big meal at the end of the day. I don't eat before work.....just no time. I'm always in a rush before work. I'll eat granola bars or snack on something at my desk once I'm at work. They just don't give us enough time to really enjoy a decent lunch at work without feeling rushed. After I get off, then I eat a decent sized meal. On the weekends I eat more.

Lately, once a day. I'm just not hungry. When I'm at work, I'd do one of those diabetic shakes just to put something on my stomach to take my meds but I can easily skip lunch and force myself to eat something for dinner. On weekends, it's way worse. I won't eat anything at all until about 5 in the evening. I do believe it's tied to my depression though.
