Dog killed.....by it's OWN fur. 
BOSTON -- Veterinarians are looking for the owners of a Pekinese dog that died after becoming trapped by his own fur in a bizarre case of animal neglect, Boston TV station WCVB reported. The male Pekinese was found abandoned March 6 and unable to move or walk because his fur was so severely matted. It's really, sad to say, not that unusual. I knew these people once that swore their dog was constipated.....yeah, it had a big ole mat under its tail. Can you imagine being that fucking dumb in life?

Man alive does this crap piss me off. How many stupid/senseless people litter this planet?
When I was younger, (about 12 years old) I was playing with my next door neighbor's dog one day, and my neighbor came running out of the house screaming at me. "No don't! Don't play with the dog!!!! We're trying to keep the dog calm so he won't jump up on people"!!!! I remember being about 12 years old and looking at this lady who was in her 30s and saying, "wait, how is the dog ever going to get used to people if she very rarely gets attention/petting"? She just told me to leave the dog alone and go away. The dog was an absolutely gorgeous samoyed who stayed tied under a pine tree 24 hours a day. She died within 5 years totally uncared for by their owners. Urg..... | |

i freak out when my cat gets a few mats in her fur..i can't stand it.. she has some on her belly now that she won't really let me get to.. i have to hold her down, and clip them a little at a time.. Is this due to natural selection and evolution? I mean did we breed the dogs with these features?
Or is there some kind of grooming process wild dogs need to go through to not end up in that condition? I feel really saddened because there are so many stray dogs in Thailand, and now I'm thinking some of them are suffering even more . | |

I saw a program last week in which they stated that all domesticated dog breeds are traceable back to 3 wolf bitches. All of the differences we see in domesticated breeds are down to humans.
