Im Baaaaacccckkk!!!

Yes Mihad, its al about saving energy usage for one hr, and helping reduce green house emissions (i think)
....doesnt seem much if its just one household, but add it up x a lot of business, households etc...and it adds up!!!

Here in Tassie, the Casino turns off its lights (it also goes pink for breastcancer), and external lights on the Tasman Bridge, just to name 2 examples.

I think the Harbour bridge and opera house turns off in Sydney.

Get cooking Valory smile

we played toy story monopoly by candle light (i used the tealight candles and holder you gave me for valentines last year Mihad, and a holder that chilli gave me for my birthday this year.)

It was fun...hubby bankrupt, rugrat won

I have it all made up and in the pan. I will bake it later, before 8:30pm tonight.
Should be fun, little man will be in bed by then.
Oh my...what shall we do with no electricity????

It's tonight here. My daughter has asked to drive downtown and hang out in our car (turned off, of course) outside of the Stag Shop, a local sex store. neutral

Last year we just happened to pull over in front of the Stag Shop when earth hour began. Some male go-go dancer in hot pants and Doc. Martens performed in their front picture window. It was actually just really silly at first, but we had to bolt when things got... um... "blue." timeout

...Anyway, looks like we've inadvertently inspired a tradition. doh! I think we may call Children's Protective Services on ourselves.

Funny, I thought 'leaving it at that' meant something completely different.
