What do you like on your pizza? So Im ordering pizza right now.. One of my favorite foods in the world!
Anyway Im from Chicago and for those of you who have ever experienced Chicago pizza you know why? oh and by the way I Love me Some New York Pizza too... Very Different but very good.. So for all of you Pizza Lovers out there.. How do you like your pizza? Thin, Thick crust, Stuffed Crust, Deep dish What do you normally get on your Pizza? Toppings I think make for a good pizza just cheese is to plain for me... I love me both thin crust and deep dish... Although I do tend to order more thin crust. My favorite toppings are Fresh garlic, Pepperoni, Sausage,And Canadian bacon. Every now and again I dig a bbq chicken pizza or a spinach pizza. insatiable3: how can i cure my hangover?

Depends. Some places make crummy thin crust. Others have insanely yeasty tasting pan pizza. Then there's that whole generic pizza hut pan crust thing..
Ok let me try to simplyfy this. (I'm very particular 'bout my pizza.) Around here, we usually just eat Italian Fiesta thin crust. Tangy Marinara sauce, pepperoni, extra cheese, ground beef. It's greasy, so soooo bad for you, but it's orgasmic.Something about that meaty combo just makes everything all right. Then there's this other new place called Pizza Bella's. Their thin crust is 100% aunthentic. From their spot, I usually just get a 1/2 and 1/2. It's usually ground beef and onion, ground beef and green peppers, or 1/2 cheese, 1/2 whatever I wanna try out. When I was a kid, my dad would take me to this place called Beggar's Pizza. It was the same thing--thin crust, ground beef and pepperoni. (Did I mention I hatehatehatehate sausage?) When I would get a smaller one by myself, I'd get fancy and get spinach and pineapple. Sounds gross, but it was really sort of a savory thing. It almost tasted...meaty. O_O | |

Ex-Moderator | I am very, very picky when it comes to pizza.
There’s a place here where I enjoy a pizza with a thin, crispy crust and I order it with onions, extra sauce and half the cheese. That’s my favorite. There’s a pizza from another place that’s more of a hand-tossed crust that I enjoy with seitan/mock duck (essentially pressed wheat gluten), red onions and banana peppers on a barbeque and red sauce base. Yum. I enjoy lots of veggies like broccoli, carrots, onions, red peppers, garlic, spinach, mushrooms stuff like that. If I get Neapolitan style (cracker thin, crispy crunchy salted crust made in a wood-fired oven that only takes 90 seconds to cook) I like it quite basic. Crushed tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and basil is perfect. Maybe a kalamata olive or two, or onions or mushrooms. But mostly the really basic. I've had a few mashed potato pizzas that are divine. I will not eat deep dish. Bleh. Too much bread. And even before I gave up eating meat, I hadn’t eaten meat on pizza for years(!). I never really liked it. |

Thin crust... chewy with some crispiness. In order 2 have flavor, the crust must have salt. No bland crust 4 me.
Cheese must be browned, like the top pizza in the two pics. Toppings? Garlic, Anchovies, Mushrooms, & Onion go well together, at least 4 me. Sauce must not be 2 sweet. "He's a musician's musician..." | |

My perfect pizza would be thin crust with authentic Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, a little extra mozzarella, and a lot of Italian herbs on top like oregano, basil and dried pepper flakes. I once had a 'Hawaiian" pizza with pineapple and I think it was Canadian bacon and some other stuff I don't remember. I thought I would hate it, but it was surprisingly tasty!
One thing I will not, absolutely NOT ALLOW on anything I eat is anchovies. Those are some nasty lil mofos! Ewww! | |
