Tonight it's a Snuggie™ and a movie called... Lawrence of Arabia. I've never seen it. It's on TCM tonight, and I had set the DVR to capture it. I always wanted to, but just never viewed it. I have no real idea what it's about, just that it's one of the top 5 movies of all time. I figured I was long overdue to see it.
I've only seen Gone With The Wind once though. Disliked that quite a bit. I've been catching up on older movies lately. Just as they come on TCM. What old movie do you love, or perhaps have never seen but know you should? [Edited 3/20/10 18:40pm]

I just finished some wings for a late dinner, so I just have some ice water near me. I plan to be curled up on the couch for most of it. Might not snack this time, but there is ice cream on standby.

I am watching it on TCM, so there are no commercials. They're even playing the Overture, Intermission, and End music. I'm having to do this one in two sittings. Long movie. Over 200 minutes. PS It's a true story, that still effects the Middle East to this day. . [Edited 3/20/10 23:15pm]

A lot of the better known classic movies tend to be overhyped a bit. I was so disappointed when I watched Citizen Kane, yet it's widely considered one of the best movies ever, as is Lawrence of Arabia. I wasn't all that blown away by A Streetcar Named Desire or The Godfather either. A few all time great movies that truly belong in that category, include: On the Waterfront The Hustler Dr. Strangelove Some Like it Hot Night of the Hunter Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Shane Bonnie and Clyde Touch of Evil Taxi Driver

Citizen Kane.
I only watched it for the first time last year and loved it. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
