NEW PICS!!!!!!!!!! back in june i posted a new grandma status...
dang!! i can't find the original thread..it was called new grandma alert!! http://prince.org/msg/100/309844 and hoped to be able to get to Chicago to see my grandbaby... 
but i havent made it yet  ..
this is my foster daughter... and her baby..at the time the result of asking, 'if it's my foster child, does it mean i'm now a Grandma???!!!' was YES!! 
she came to my home at the end of 2005..and was placed in my custody permanently in March 2006.. but she became hard headed wanting to do what she wanted to do..typicall teenager.. 
well that got her into a bit of trouble..(probation) which she didnt do very well..and we (the p.o, the guardian ad litem and i) told her what was gonna happen.. she was put in a program,and was still being hard headed almost to the end
and finally came home in august 2008.. still doing what she wants to do..met someone,and... got pregnant,and eventually decided to move to Chicago to be with him..she was over 18 at this time so.. i'd like to think that some of the 'you need to finish school and get to some college'' sunk in.. she wanted to be a massage therapist and is now attending school for dental assisting...
