Yes, that thing is an icon, it was started in 1948 and its parked in a side street near where I work in the daytime. They park it in the Red light strip of Fort street, ful of strip bars and dodgy ass pokie (Slot/Fruit machine venues) and ghetto ass liquor stores. So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

1. What type of snack are these 2. Are they any good I ask as there have been ads on here (New Zealand), saying they are going to be released soon and that they are "Americas best kept secret" deep fried corn tortillas baby! .... with lots and lots of dehydrated cheese all over em. they are tasdty. guess you can get the plain kind without the cheese. which is great for dipping salsa ... or oooo guacomole! Ya Hoo! I love home made guacomole. wont touch the store bought junk. I make the BEST homemade guacomole. (if i do say so myself., and when it come to the kitchen.. i do!) gonna plant me an avacado tree to keep me in plenty! this is the time of the first fast.

2. check the above They're nothing like Lays or Pringles - not at all! Those are both potato chips, Doritos are tortilla chips. The parent company is Frito-Lay, which is why most of their products end in -ito sounds (Cheetos, Fritos, Tostitos, Doritos).

They have released them now. Tried a pack of BBQ flavored yesterday, they were quite good, not a lot unlike CC's the brand they replaced. Despite the fact its an American brand, these ones are made here by Bluebird the same company that did CC'S and Aztec, so I guess its made under licence. Still they were some nice ass chips. I ate the whole 170gram (6 OZ's?) bag in about 30 minutes. So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

We also have Nandos, but Oporto went belly up 2 years ago. We got Dominos pizza about 2000, and Pizza Hutt about 1975. Taco Bell dosen't exist here as Mexican food is not very popular. Here its just called Burger King.
We also have Borders here (2 stores in Auckland, 1 in Christchurch) and they are officially owned by our big chain Whitcoulls (Known as Angus and Robertson in Oz), but still trade as Borders. Borders didn't ake off here as their prices are skytopical due to the fact most of their stock is imported from the US and the Kiwis have only half the purchasing power and didposable income level of the US. Our average income is about the same as Mississippi's. wow! I think our Oportos are still going and so is our Borders We have Taco Bill instead of Taco Bell but it's not similar at all. Mexican food but I have to admit, the mexican food I had in california was a whole different (better) thing than we can get here Oportos still exists in NZ! Just not on Queen St anymore. Love me some Oports. Best thing Oz ever came up with Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

Its a shame it went, I loved their Bondi and Norm burgers. You can get Mexican here, but the cafes will be locally owned and not chains, we regularly make our own Tacos with mince and an Old El Paso Tortilla kit (Tacos, seasoning and sauce) Go get yourself a Bondi this week! http://www.oporto.co.nz/l...index.aspx Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...
