I hope not... the artist himself should never bludgeon people with their greatness... their fans should.

You want to know something funny?

Heather had never even heard of Kurt Vonnegut before I bludgeoned her!

I've read Breakfast of Champions and I've watched Schlach Hous Funf...both were a little depressing in ways...not without humor, but malevolent...

Sirens of Titan was okay. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't say that it's a must read.

I have a question, did Kurt Vonnegut write a play called 'Happy Birthday, Wanda June' ?

I thouroughly enjoyed Sirens of Titan! What didn't you like about it?

And, yes... he did.

There isn't anything in particular that I didn't like about it. I just remember thinking that it was going to be much better than it actually was and not being too impressed after I read it. I mean, I was impressed but not as much as I thought I would be.

I remember reading 'Happy Birthday, Wanda June' when I was in the eighth grade and really liking it. But for some reason nobody else remember Kurt Vonnegut writing that. Thanks for the link, now I can assert that fact instead of asking about it. :WOOT:
