xp security suite...virus...uggg so somehow I've never really noticed that XP security suite..is not a microsoft product. Today, I can't turn the darn thing off, and it's effected my i.e., and my firefox.
So I call microsoft technical support, and they have me restart my computer in safe mode, and go to saftey.live.com. It runs an official scan of my computer, and where xp said I had 32 viruses/trojan horses, etc...the official scan found two. It has me rethinking all those flac files ive downloaded from various sites..whether its worth going through this process again.. Anyway, if you have XP security suite get rid of it. just sayin

My Dad had it. It was a bitch to get rid of. I have no idea what he'd been clicking on, to get the virus.

Try microsoft security essentials. That was recommended to me. www.microsoft.com and it's free. Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |
