Late-Appreciated TV Shows What TV shows did you not necessarily watch when they first came on, but caught up with them more in reruns? Enterprise is the latest on the list of lately-discovered shows, well after the fact.
I'm a big Star Trek fan (although I dislike TOS), but I never quite got into Enterprise. Since switching to DirecTV, I now get HDNet, and they show 3 Enterprise episodes every morning, which I DVR and watch when I get up. I started to watch it on DirecTV and realized I was in the last season of the show (I picked up w/ the Nazi story arch). It just started over yesterday. I'm really enjoying the show. (Bonus anytime Scott Bakula or Tripp is shirtless/near-naked.) I'm loving the crash course I've put myself in. At this rate of 3 shows a day, I estimate that I'll be through the whole four years of shows in about six weeks (I think they did 98 shows in 4 seasons). (I recently did a marathon with an old favorite - Three's Company.) I hated Friends when it first came on and wasn't until I started watching it in reruns around season 4 that I started to like it. Between the regular run on Thursdays, plus the reruns at dinner, we got caught up rather quickly, and ended up loving the series. Same with Seinfeld. Just hated it early on, and frankly the show suffered a lot in the beginning. What's yours?

Another one is that Tyler Perry sitcom "House of Payne." That show just irritates the shit out of me!

I NEVER saw the George Lopez show when it was on primetime. It wasn't until Nick at Nite started showing re-runs that I got into it.
