Peng Shuilin is his name.
He lost half of his body when he was run over by a truck.
Although none of the sources I've found explain how his remaining
organs function (I'm particularly interested in how he digests food
and eliminates waste from a merely functional perspective). What
can be ascertained is that the fact he is still alive is in itself
miraculous.

But he's gone on to become a public speaker for physical recovery

as well as opening his own super market called "The Half Man Half Price Store"


He's quite amazing, really.

I've had to take care of people who had both, and lemme tell ya, emptying a colostomy bag daily will toughen you up. You also have to let the gas out of it a few times a day or it blows up.
