Creative Zen Hi-fi?

http://www.amazon.com/Cre...550&sr=8-1

Has anyone heard the sound from one of these devices? I've always loved Creative products because of the sound, but I own an iPod. However, I'm told that the Creative Zen Hi-fis actually make your .mp3 file sound like the original CD track.

Has anyone experienced one of these players? They're only $130 for the 16GB model, which seems like a steal.

Love

Oooh, pretty! nod

I've had a Zen Vision M 16g since early 2007. To this day, it's one my favorite possessions! It's the only MP3 player that fit my specs of having an external mic as well as an FM tuner that you can record broadcasts from (I record a lot of talks/lectures).

As it is a hard drive, it keeps all the music I put on it. My son has an iPod that has not only had to be replaced about three times since he bought it (same time I bought my player), but any time any music was moved from the computer to our external hard drive, he invariably lost some songs (source no longer available or some such rot mad ).

Never had a lick of trouble with mine. Too bad Creative doesn't market & advertise their products more aggressively. shrug

Great things, very reliable. I lost mine on a train between Glasgow and Ardrossan about four years ago. It's a bit odd because I kept a lot of audio notes of, well, my thoughts and ideas and such on it. I find it both amusing and deeply embarrassing that some stranger out there knows me better than anyone.

I have an old iRiver from 2004 that had 40 GB of space on it, and I love it. love fallinluv It has never given me problems except for one; I just recently ran out of space on the hard drive. sad I need to get an mp3 player with more disk space, and I heard the Creative brand is pretty outstanding sonic-wise.
