It's an odd thought to realize that we eat cheese made from the milk of animals who can't even bathe themselves, yet some people have a stroke at the thought of women giving their kids breast milk...the whole business is all just too weird for me to ponder this early in the morning

I hated Breast Feeding my babies, plus I had way too much milk!
It felt uncomfortable and stunk and leaked all the time.
6 Months was my record, only because the little one refused the bottle.

I don't have an issue with it being breast milk per se, but my concern lies in the health of the woman providing it. Unless the guy is pasteurizing the milk before it turns into cheese, then that is the health concern for me.

Isn't it odd that we'll eat milk from a fucking goat, but breast milk made by and for humans is something we scoff at? I'm not endorsing using breast milk - but it's just an interesting observation on things.

It's like that old adage of "Why do we believe someone when we're told there are 3 billion stars, but we have to check if the paint is wet?"

It is very paradoxical, isn´t it? Then again, I think the very reason that it is human milk we´re talking about makes it sound so gross....so , I don´t know, interpersonal, for lack of better words. I think consuming milk or other products from other species, like meat or eggs, is less gross because they´re not like us, which seems to break down the barrier.

And it´s weird that this is mostly a problem for adults, not kids...they don´t seem to mind whether the milk comes from their own mama or someone else´s mom.
